Distance
Lights burn our eyes when we wake
The vessels we move in are no strangers to love
Our hearts burst at seams for the same souls we meet
The hours know no difference, the distance will speak
Collisions of grandeur and lust
Stars will explode for the ones that we trust
Building foundations or tearing down bridges
Those with same souls we keep
Restless
I left the candle to burn a while but the wick won't last that long
Clocks will undo my work but wax won't pass the time
Oh i'm moving in circles, circles and I can't run
Photographs will help but won't break repeat
Fire will burn out when consuming and left unchecked
We can pass walls when ignoring the rules we've made
I haven't the time to remember the place but I remember your name
Hour glass will chase me but I will escape in the end
Oh i'm moving in circles, circles and I can't run
Photographs will help but won't break repeat
When we come home we believe in the gods we've made
As days turns to night we forget in the paths we've laid
In this old town we're restless
Restless and loosing faith in our new found ways
But it's not for long, we're moving on
To live under shattered skies, but take solace in everything we've done and the ones we love
To move in mysterious ways, break promises to make a new we will change in time
To hold on to what we love
