Kaseydog9 - Meant to Be (feat. Rampage) Lyrics
Official

Good morning everyone
I would like to welcome all faculty
Alumni, friends, family
And distinguished guests
Well graduates
We made it
As a group, we did indeed start from the very bottom
Now looks like the whole team's here
Representing the black and gold, that really comes naturally for me
I'm walking straight to the stage, come on man just give me that degree
High school is done, you guys on the run, boy I'm number one
It's just begun, the crowd is so stunned at all the things I have done
You've heard my name, and I can't complain, it's kind of insane
My family to blame, but there is no shame in things that I cannot change
You think you know me, you're not my homie, stay on your own
They keep me going, and I ain't slowing, I'm only growing
I'm stressing, reflecting on all of my past
The struggle was real, can't hold nothing back
My job never stops, as it keeps getting harder
I got it together, just keep getting smarter
My friends, they look at me, they give me good luck
Working backstage to help pick me back up
I'm grinding each day to work my way to fame
I won't quit till all the crowds calling my name
You may not know who we are
But now we've made it this far
We've got the good hearts that just get run over
And we never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
Right now, we're up here on stage
Jumping out this horrid cage
We'll never go back from this life we've started
And we'll never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
I'm prayin' I'm slayin'
Listen close guys, catch what I'm sayin'
That I really don't care
I'm not the one to play fair
When I'm smackin' all these mares in their tiny dairy aires
You call yourself a goat, and then it's hard to stay afloat
When you can't even drive a boat
So whip up on me, catch this smoke
And then you take your little jab
I'll be too busy in the lab
Just tell me where I need to send her
Light it up, return to sender
So keep on trippin', rippin', and dippin'
You know you're not the one that's flippin'
Everything that I do, I've got to do
I've had to do with what I got
I'm on the spot, I'm on the clock
So keep a spot up on the dock
I need a place to take my break
Before you catch up to my wraith
You come at me like I'm your bloke
But then you want to call me broke
I'm just a potter in a cloak
I worked a million the soak
And when I see all that I know
I wind up in a chokehold, yo
I tell you in the end it comes around
You're like a hound, I need to call the pound
I can tell you, I don't care what goes around
When your girl comes through, we go to town
Breakin' it down, bumpin' this sound
Man, I'm not a clown
Pennywise bringin' ya'll down
But we stay floatin', while all you boys drown
You may not know who we are
But now we've made it this far
We've got the good hearts that just get run over
And we never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
Right now, we're up here on stage
Jumping out this horrid cage
We'll never go back from this life we've started
And we'll never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
The time is now drawing near
And it's very clear where I'm going with my life
And now I know that nothing can stop me now
Blowin' away all the smog
I'm the underdog, just trying to break out
And these chains are getting tight
This dog never got his bone
And then you call on the phone and say
"I've got one for you now"
You're too late, I won't allow
You may not know who we are
But now we've made it this far
We've got the good hearts that just get run over
And we never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
Right now, we're up here on stage
Jumping out this horrid cage
We'll never go back from this life we've started
And we'll never complain, so it's plain to see
That we are the ones that were meant to be
