We're called to share the gospel
To spread the good news to those out there
Something that should come natural
But most times we just feel scared
Why can we talk to strangers
About last night's football game
But not share the love we're given
From a God that came to save
I'm just trying to live a life
That honors the Father I can't please both sides
I wish everyone could know my God
I keep trying to tell em' but Lord it's hard
We read about the Apostles
And wonder how they were so bold
We think our hearts on fire
But if we're honest they've grown cold
We live lives of comfort
No punishment for our faith
Why don't we proudly share
The story of amazing grace
I'm just trying to live a life
That honors the Father I can't please both sides
I wish everyone could know my God
I keep trying to tell em' but Lord it's hard
They ask me for evidence
All I can say is come and see
There's no rational explanation
For all the change He's made in me
If you wanna know how to find Him
He's here for you and He's here for me
It's an open invitation friend
Just ask and you shall receive
