My purpose here in this old world is to help the ones I love to carry on
In times of sorry and times of pain I need to help those I love to stay strong
And if that means I have to pour my heart out in to a sad sad song

And if poetry was the answer, I'd rhyme a million words to get us through
But tomorrow's not for certain and yesterday has already passed
So let us thank the Lord for what we have today and the Lords' will to make it all last
