We fall into a rabbit hole and come out with the sun
And then the world bursts into flames
The seams and shades become undone
And there's a swirling, viscid gray
That soaks the earth in parched decay
Which hasn't touched us yet
But they say cannot be outrun
The light begins to peel away and shudders from the air
And we can see into the black of space through ruptured seams and tears
And they pry our faces from the fray, but we're not aware
And meet their eyes with dark and empty stares
