The Wilderness Years Video (MV)

As we travelled through the wilderness
Moses sent out some men
They had to cross the river Jordan
To spy out God's Promised Land
The men came back after forty days
With talk of milk and honey
They showed everyone the fruit of the land
And that made them all happy

But then they told them all the people are strong
And their cities are surrounded by high walls
If we try to take this land we won't stand a chance

Then Joshua and Caleb spoke cos they disagreed with the men
They said let's go up and take this land
Against out God they have no defense
We know the Lord delights in us so He'll bring us into this land
If we don't rebel against the Lord He'll deliver it into our hands

But the men again gave a bad report
Saying their soldiers are of great stature
If we try to take this land in a fight we'll have no chance

Listen now to Me you men
Who have heard all that I've said
You've seen My Glory and signs
My Presence the whole time
Yet you still don't believe

So you shall not see Canaan
As you've rejected Me and My plan
So you will wander around
For forty years from now
And be buried in this ground
Your little ones will be shepherds before Me
And they will bear the brunt of your infidelity
Over forty years

Then they shall inhabit the land
As promised in My plan
And since they've had some time
They'll understand they're mine
And that I'm on their side
