You've seen what God has done
To Pharaoh and all his land

I've led you forty years

God's met your every need

The words of His Covenant are true

Moses climbed Mount Nebo just across from Jericho
God showed him the Promised Land
That He swore to give to Abraham
Then Moses died in Moab according to the Lord's plan
Then God buried him in a valley no-one ever found his grave

The people wept for Moses for thirty days they mourned for him
When the weeping ended Joshua then led them

Joshua was the one with the spirit of wisdom
God chose him to lead them
Cos he believed God's word
