Dustpan overflowing with all your lies
Can't contain all your lies
There's no time to clean up all the dirt
Stains my life through hurt
Every time I turn around there's more
I'm not the child I was before
It's hard to believe I'm chosen
When this world around me's so broken
When do you know you're friends again?
At what point do you feel you're alone
And when does the dirt get swept away
When do you get sunny skies or clouds of grey
No matter how far I go
There's always more to dirt than sun
Get out the dustpan all again
We just all need that friend
Or wash away the dirt with tears
One of my biggest fears
On the fellowship like there was back then
But then I realized
I realized I'll stain with dirt again
