Jay Lee - Eulogy Lyrics

Jay Lee - Eulogy Lyrics

The pen and the pad
Is driving me mad
Repentance for sins
'Cause I have been bad
But i do not know
Where I should just go
But now I'm here
And I'm bringing it back

To the Jay-Lee EP
When I thought that rap was easy
When I thought to snap was needed
When I wrought a path to defeat
Circle right back to Echo Chamber
I was so sad, yeah head in danger
Yeah, I was bad, but then, my brain just
Told me that crap was better than anyone
So 1, 2 put the blame on you
Can the way I do these shitty tunes
Is a game I lose but I do refuse
So predict my views; I concede the truth
Since I dropped my first EP
Oh life has changed in a way that seems
To be crazily a big range from peace
So imagine me, getting brained on E
I went from a kid who would never touch drink
To just sitting on Ket all f*cked up on MD
Went from a bitch who'd just take all heat
To becoming the prick that would fight in the street
Went from the king that would do as he pleased
To the tyrant who cut off his the people he needs
Went from somebody who tried to succeed
To somebody who lies when he writes on the beats
I run with thieves, my mum believes, I'm like the best
Really it seems, like my whole life, is a big lie
But I realise, I need to change, something about all my hazardous ways
Is now passively warning I'm in a daze, I'm so confused, I've been accused
Of just laying in flames
I'm shifting the blame, I'm still the same, really it's everyone else who has
Changed, I'm not afraid to go lay by myself, cos I blew the whole lid
On this bullshit you made!
But the piper's deceptive serenade
Is the proof that I'm set to sail away
But this suit is tailor-made for me

Why I'm so afraid of failure is
All I do is say what Jay can see
But you use my words to anger me
Jay, you're immature and crazy g
I just say what's f*cking hazing me
Never claimed I was amazingly
Tearing up the scene or easily
Being big, mature, or reasoning
Never tried to be appeasing, see
I just write to pass the evenings
So bite my ass, you think I'm weakening
I'm just a nerd, spitting a verse, tryna be heard
So I am worse, but I've endured so many words
So many years, being backwards, me getting hurt
Seeming adverse, seeming at first to be seething in bursts
But there's a million reasons I burst
Reasons beginning to seep in at birth
So eat my turds, see I come first
Eleven thirty this well be my first
Verse that got blowing up in a burst
Since December back when I had just learned
Nobody cares until your in a hearse
Right up till then you can be so diverse
But the people won't be so willing to diverge
'Cause all they feast over is basicness, search
For peaceful releases but we're so perverse
I'm on my knees the result ain't heard
We all become heroes when we hit the dirt
Maybe I'll speed it up, now though I'm done
