This one's titled
Longevity
You feel me
And like I told y'all
I don't write rhymes
I write poetry
Check it
Now I ain't tryna be the god
Or no false prophet
Or tryna build an image
Off a false promise
I'm just tryna
Be the one
The kids look up to
Abided by the lessons
That I stuck too
Now I ain't tryna
Be the god or a fake idol
I just want my name in books
Like a page title
And every verse that I write
Shall remain vital
And when my time finally comes
It's the same cycle
What goes up must fall in the end
Hoping that my name
Doesn't get caught up in the wind
When it's said and done
Jay Chris will still be relevant
The old head still setting trends Comprehend
I'm spitting game
Word to my name
It's hard to live life
And not get caught up in the fame
I keep my head high
And my eyes stay aimed
I write to convey
My happiness and my shame
This is Jay
Jaded in the vision
That I'm racing to
I'd hate to lose
Placing number two
Ain't what I aim to do
Player Music
Haters knew they rue the day
I made the move
To place myself among the greatest
I remember they were saying
Who is he?
I remember I was saying
Who am I?
Looked inside the hazel eyes
The mirror almost made me cry
Realization hit me crazy
That could be another guy
Who doesn't have the means
To illustrate what's going on inside
So here I write
Pen and pad
Hoping that the words could last
Coping with internal madness
Knowing if I keep on going
Then it could grow a path
For someone else to elevate
Chain reaction never break
Gaining passion in a state of mind
Extruding in the improvement of self
Hoping that my legacy
Reflects what I'm doing to help
Hoping they remember me
Take what I did and develop it
So that it's relevant forever
Protecting your health
Providing some wealth
Yeah
It's played music man
