Jason Ivy - Hate Lyrics

Jason Ivy - Hate Lyrics

I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate

I hate being under bridges
I hate being underprivileged
I may give this listen
If you make a decision
I don't need your permission
Cause I am on a mission
This ain't no superstition...
But the writing's on the wall

The sun's about to fall
With you and I
At the bottom of it all
So it's do or die
Are you in it for the long haul?
If not I'll be gone by nightfall

If you, ever saw what I saw
You might, never take your eyes off
Would you mind, showing me to fight for
My rights, or do I need to die for
My rights?

You must've missed it
I take my titles in hand, so call me mister
I got my license to kill
I got my bible in hand
Since you persisted
I don't usually go in
But you insisted, so

Underestimate me count me out
Turn my music up and drown me out
We can go round and round
Like I'm, driving down a road that's made of roundabouts, I don't know my whereabouts
Talking bout these topics I don't care about
Stop it

I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate

I've been dreaming for a minute
And my dreams have been more vivid
I reflect on what I'm given
Really it's no competition
Flying 'round without permission
Trying to find someone to listen
Sometimes, it's hard to tell if I'm asleep or if I'm living

I been tryna see the vision
Limit negativity
Don't bring that over to me
I'm just tryna focus rhymes into my life in poetry
They say "life is what you make of it"
I said, "supposedly"
Guess there's no one who could tell me where i'm really s'possed to be

Hopefully, I'll make it big, turn local to global reach
And when my fame is past it's prime I'll have some knowledge I can teach
To each their own, but I need years and I need ears who will listen to my fears
Maybe get the message

I been hopin I been prayin'
I don't see no blessings, here
Take my pride don't need that here
I don't hold that shit too dear
And I mean it when I say it
I just wanna be sincere
Throw that book up in the air
God ain't looking way down here

I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate, yeah
I hate

(But I still love)
(There's always room for love)
