John Q. Public - Please Don't Feed the Air Lyrics

John Q. Public Lyrics

Please Don't Feed the Air Lyrics
(aka John Quincy Public, circa 1985)

Cities pay the price for progress,
with smog and filthy air,
factories belching out the junk,
yet no one seems to care,

LA freeway, Detroit car plants,
cities shrouded in dirt,
We are all responsible,
when we hurt the earth.

Cities are polluted enough,
so please don't feed the air,
think about the ecology,
just how much do we care?

We've got to stop polluting,
'cause it's our human duty,
If we don't then we probably will,
kill off all of earth's beauty.

You could help, yes you can help,
by please not feeding the air,
Our planet could be smothered,
under man's civilized flair.

Cities are polluted enough,
so please don't feed the air,
we're killing off ecology,
just how much do we care?
