Sun is breaking through mist at dawn
As I climb a hill towards some place I've never been;
The silver river is flowing far below me now
As I leave behind another town, another temporary home
As the seasons change before my passing eyes
New leaves appear on the oldest vines
They're dancing up to catch the light;
With you, my fellow traveller, I'm like a bird in flight
Catching thermals to circle and glide deeper into the blue
Could I set down my baggage
One step at a time and keep walking?
Could I learn to be free
From the fears that have decreased me
And keep growing?
