They run in a wheel, through the gaps I am watching
Sun after sun going by
Tiny life developing and burning out their eyesight
Only to hide from the real
The real world is nevermore a place I'd like to be
But they begin to like the new one better
Sturdy life still biding time and burning out my eyesight
Only to make me unsee
Wait for the day they reason with me
I keep them running on hope and belief
Sun after sun (after sun after sun) going by
They are my foes and my friends, yet so indifferent to all I provide
They are my fools and my kin and all the lovers I lost over time
I'll purge them if I please
My virtue is one of a beast
An instinct then become technology
