Growing up, I knew no other way
A one-parent home, we struggled every day
Money was tight, but love was always there
But social awkwardness left me feeling bare
I moved around, never staying long
Bullying followed me wherever I went strong
I felt like an outcast, alone and blue
But my mom's strength kept me going, that's what I drew
I'm writing my own story, page by page
From the struggles of my past to the beauty of my stage
I'm finding my voice, breaking free from the pain
Unwritten pages, waiting to be written again
Now I'm older, wiser, and more aware
I've faced my demons, and I've learned to share
My struggles with others, to show them it's okay
To be vulnerable, to let go of the shame
I've found my tribe, my people who understand
We lift each other up, hand in hand
We're not alone in this fight
We're rising above the darkness of night
I'm writing my own story, page by page
From the struggles of my past to the beauty of my stage
I'm finding my voice, breaking free from the pain
Unwritten pages, waiting to be written again
I see a brighter day, a chance to thrive
A future where I'm not defined by my past life
I'll continue to push through the noise and the fray
And use my voice to make a difference in some way
I see a brighter day, a chance to thrive
A future where I'm not defined by my past life
I'll continue to push through the noise and the fray
And use my voice to make a difference in some way
I'm writing my own story, page by page
From the struggles of my past to the beauty of my stage
I'm finding my voice, breaking free from the pain
Unwritten pages, waiting to be written again
And so I'll keep writing, one chapter at a time
Sharing my story, spreading love and kindness divine
For those who come after me, for those who are still searching for their way
May they find their own voice, their own unwritten pages.
