Tonight I'll try to fix myself and find my way to peace
But I worry about missing out on a future I can't see
Today we're headed east again I'm dreading the change of scenes
Sometimes I wish I had a straight job
Somedays I hated the routine
Everytime I find some peace of mind
I'm headed down again
Never knowing if I'll make it out of the shape that I am in
How long til I convince myself that I'm where I need to be
I fill pages in my storybook with the beauty that I see
Cm I where I need to be
Life is waiting there for me
Looking through the windshield at the life we left behind
Front porch coffee in the morning
We can sit and fill the time
But today I'll watch the sunset from a place I've never seen
I'll trust myself again
I'm where I need to be
Cm I where I need to be
Life is waiting there for me
Pleasant boredom left behind
There's no better life inside my mind
