A lonely steeple
On a dusty ride
One million people, no one right
We won't be careless
When we read their rights
Cause fractured faces will align
They wear the symbols
And bear the scars
But in defeat they'll pull apart
Whose side are you stood on?
Waiting to ride your unicorn
Some broken people
Steal broken hearts
Whole lives collapsing into dark
They wander senseless
All along the beach
And put their sins just out of reach
I place a marker
Take careful aim
And open fire in to the blame
Whose side are you stood on?
Waiting to ride your unicorn
One million seasons
Of unjust decay
In time one folds oneself away
To breathe a single
Uncluttered breath
And wait for your God to interject
So don't be careless
When you interrupt
Their roots will grow right through your dust
Whose side are you stood on?
Waiting to ride your unicorn
