Mark lives just across the street
I can see figures through his, living room window
From just outside
Sometimes I see him go into town
They come and get him and don't make a sound
Parked just outside
But when I close my eyes
We're all still kids
I would not go somewhere new
Without at least one of you
There by my side, to witness I tried
I do believe things have to change
People you choose to replace
When someone leaves, someone else grieves
But when I close my eyes
I can still smell the alcohol
Sitting out on our neighbours wall
Till we both heard your mother call
We're all still kids
