Ginsy - The World's Biggest Loser Lyrics

Ginsy - The World's Biggest Loser Lyrics

In a desolate episode of his,
The silence crept into the night, I ceased
My wonderment and snuck
Into the bed where he laid
As the night light begins to fade,
I held his hand as he looked
With the littlest faith
In a tighter grip, I asked, "What's wrong?"
To us and everything that's going on
The pulsating veins of our tryst
Paused as I braced for the downfall list

Dead-eyed at the window, he confessed,
"I feel like the world's biggest mess
Time slips faster than I could look back
Friends come in black caps
And I have none of that,
You are in your own league and good at it,
And yet here you are with me,
Clenching on to my broken of a soul
Time and time in a million times over
Forget not to remind me
I'm the world's biggest loser"

In the patter of the rain and cold, conditioned air
I ran my fingers through his hair
And whispered,
"My love, kindly not think you're alone,
In your darkest hour, I will be your home.
Through the storm and sleepless nights,
I'll be your shelter, your guiding light
For in your eyes was the spark
That shone when I was the one in the dark.
Forego with everything that's been lost,
And set your eyes on the battles yet to be fought

You and I, we'll weather every gale,
With love as our mast, we will prevail."
I might not have spoken as poetic and rhyming
As I have written in this poem here
But I guess it held its translation
As he smiled in deviation
From his earlier emotion
And I am reminded of the truest of devotions
Known to men and God's earthly creation
For to be loved is to know refuge
And to love is to become one.
