Now I don't expect you to listen to me
After all I'm nobody Important
All I can do is say my peace into the void
What I have found is that life is dispassionately mysterious
Why?
Well because we are not made of special stuff
We're made of the same four elements that are most abundant in our universe
So anyone who feels they are entitled to anything is kidding themselves
And this makes me ask
Why do we hate each other?
Why do we hurt each other?
Lie, cheat, betray?
Because some people will come along
And they'll make you promises and assurances with their breath
And then betray you with their actions
They'll take your uncommon kindness and use and abuse it
Because they feel they are entitled to
But despite all this hardship
No one has the power over your human spirit
It starts with belief
Even if you believe that there is no god
Or that there is in fact a heaven
That is what you believe
It's at the very heart of being human
And there will of course be questions
"Why is this happening?"
"Why is it not fair?"
I take comfort in the questions that have no answers
Because no matter what we do
We will never see what lies inside the super massive black hole at the heart of our galaxy
I take comfort knowing that these questions
Which have driven human minds to madness for generations
These questions will never be answered
Because the moment they are answered
We arrive at a destination
And life is not a destination
It is a journey

We seem to think that who we are now is who we will always be
This idea of destination fever tricks into thinking we cannot grow
But life is a journey and a journey allows us to grow
And there will be mountains to climb, rivers to cross
Curves and turns thrown at you every which way
You will meet people that will hate you and will hurt you
But then you will meet people that will love you and will hold you
No matter how hard it is
Every step is essential for you to grow as a human being
Because that's what life is
We don't stand still
Life is an epic adventure
