I knew this honey bee that flew into my garden one day
Had a beautiful flutter, and had the prettiest sting
I would spend the weekends with it til' it beg my to stay
Used to cuddle under me to get up outta rain
Used to tell it funny stories, it would ask me for more
Never met a bee like this, it used to love me galore
Well it still love me and I love it just as much as before
Due to distance, I don't really get to see it no more
Prolli' my fault, I'm horrible at communicating
Too fine wit being lonely, not too down wit just dipping and relocating
It's complicated
Sometimes we talk and I explain that I'm just trynna get mental re-situated
It really gets me
And it be busy but it miss me
Buzzing in my thoughts, the memories, they got me dizzy
Thinking 'bout the sweetness of that honey bee still hit me a lot
Gotta get my garden together, then I can save it a spot

I met this flower that had sprouted in my garden one day
Had the prettiest petals, wanted to put it away
I used to check up on it, make sure it was doin' okay
It used to laugh at everything ah silly nigga would say
I thought I had it, we connected like the roots and the dirt
It supported my shine
Wanted to give it the earth
But the timing wasn't perfect, I regretted to learn
So I let the flower be without a plan to return
Barely help the fact I think about the flower still
I did so much to try and get it off my mind but
I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it
So I knew that it would take a little minute 'for it dried up
The love
I mean
I feel so stupid 'bout it
Cause I know deep down it ain't nothin I can do it about it
I know I think too much but dammit, I'm gon' stick it out
Gotta get my garden together and try to do without it
