In a little town by the river so blue
Lived a feathered friend, his name was Kevin (Kevin)
With feathers so bright and a beak so blue
He'd swoop and dive, catchin' fish for stew (oh yeah)
Oh Kevin, the colourful kingfisher (Kevin, Kevin)
Flyin' high in the sky, always bringing laughter (ha-ha-ha)
With a flash of his wings and a melody to sing (la-la-la-la-la)
Kevin, Kevin, the kingfisher, a joyful little thing
From dawn 'til dusk, he'd explore the land
Perched on a branch or in the water he'd stand (oh-oh-oh)
Children would gather with eyes wide and bright
Kevin's vibrant feathers, a wondrous sight
