Leave full responses, take empty seats
I smile as the weather wraps my feet
Beneath the dirt and the memories
You could almost hear me speak...
At last I've found a voice, one worth listening to
It doesn't have a mouth to tell
Just scale my ribs and listen well!
I ask, what has bestowed me?
Exhales, without words show me
How I question what need be not
Even though we all move to a discordant melody
Now I feel I can't be destroyed I need a test of impossible odds
So I severed the land from the sky to see if I could bear the weight of
The gods
I sing here alone
I've let this devour me
Upon the telling of this story
I am remembered for being the only man
Who climbed the entire night to run out of sky
And the only way to anywhere was south
I sunk back to earth!
I ask, what has bestowed me?
Exhales, without words show me
How I question what need be not
Even though we all move to a discordant melody
