Invincible, or so once thought
We see now through your defences, by some stroke of luck

Gasping, running, starving for days
A corpse-ridden wasteland burning its resources
Those who have run astray
Will meet their end in a meaningless way

Once our protectors
Now a single defect hurls

This world into madness
Lawless, flawless, utter chaos
Only purpose they shall know
Proliferate, destroy and bleed

Rivers of red, claustrophobic walls now constrict
As distress and despair at their throats grip
Haunting visions of what should've been
Ripped to shreds, toxic injection at their skin

Transforming beings grow
To something not quite like before
While we can only stare in horror
Last hope to live lie dead on the floor

Blind, bleeding and dazed
A world ablaze in flames

Memories no longer remain
Some take their lives in vain

As the air burns up and suspends
Know that this is the end
