In a trance, I fall away
Into the night, where dreams hold sway
Out of body, I take flight
Soaring high above, in the dead of night
Over Ukraine, I fly and see
A land torn apart, in tragedy
Missiles rain down, with deadly aim
Schools and churches, engulfed in flame
Hospitals and malls, in the crossfire
People crying out, consumed by ire
I see the cities, once so grand
Reduced to rubble, by a ruthless hand
Power utilities flicker and fade
As darkness descends, on this land betrayed
Over Ukraine, I fly and see
A land torn apart, in tragedy
Missiles rain down, with deadly aim
Schools and churches, engulfed in flame
Hospitals and malls, in the crossfire
People crying out, consumed by ire
I reach out, but I am just a ghost
Powerless to intervene, to help the most
My heart breaks, as I witness the pain
In this war-torn land, where hope seems in vain
As I slowly return, to my earthly frame
The memory lingers, of the sorrow and shame
May we never forget, the cost of war's toll
And work towards a future, where love can console.
Over Ukraine, I fly and see
A land torn apart, in tragedy
Missiles rain down, with deadly aim
Schools and churches, engulfed in flame
Hospitals and malls, in the crossfire
People crying out, consumed by ire
