Bright lights
Shine through the window
Tired eyes
Stare in empty spaces elsewhere
The rain beats against the glass
Between the window pane
A cold breath of air
Softly says your name
As the leaves begin to fall onto the ground again
I think in steady paces
I try to hold my head
In the dark all of the stars begin to fall
And all of the trees will start to lean into the wall
Bright lights
Shine through the window
Tired eyes
Stare in empty spaces elsewhere
And we all gasp for air
