Well, they parked Noah's Ark
Up in Northern Kentucky
Thought that they might let the people
Have a look around
But the owners of that ark
Turned out not to be so lucky
When the record rain falls
Started comin' down
Well, the skies turned dark
And the clouds began to rupture
But it didn't take nowhere near forty days
For the waters to rise
And damage vital infrastructure
They called up that insurance man
But he did not wanna pay
That old time flood
Was an act of God's
Noah's carbon footprint
Could not have been the cause
The weather now is the works of man
I guess the Bible won't protect your ark
Like a flood insurance plan
Well, the people lined up two by two
To show their true devotion
To the literal belief in words
Written on the page
How God turned a world of violence
Into nothin' but an ocean
And the seas are risin' once again
In our modern age
The pages of the holy book
Are filled with lots of stories
About how we ought to treat our fellow man
And if that was what we used it for
We'd have a lot less worries
And we wouldn't need a theme park
Like Noah's Disneyland
That old time flood
Was an act of God's
Noah's carbon footprint
Could not have been the cause
The weather now is the works of man
I guess the Bible won't protect your ark
Like a flood insurance plan
I guess the Bible won't protect your ark
Like a flood insurance plan
