Introduction
I'm the blindness of mankind
I learn to seek but never find
I hear but once a story told
From vague images dark and cold
I sit back to wonder why
A dead man mourns to and faces cry
A shallow tear of iodine
To restore the memory of someone fine
I never knew where I would see you
Until the night I stumbled through
That darkened stairway I always feared
That drew me nearer
Until I peered
And when I did right there and then
I knew I must but knew not when
So did decide to explore
To enter dark and shut the door
