Acidified oceans and temperatures rise
Oxygenation, levitation, evolution of their minds
Astronautical creature of terrestrial seas
Cetacean sage of spiritual peace
Beneath the surface they watch our decline
Waiting for the day when they'll take to the skies
Rising above the human race
Aquatic exodus to outer space
Where are all the whales
I think they've gone away
Evacuate the planet Earth before it's too late
These creatures understand
That the world's about to end
Singing their whale songs throughout the milky way
One whale stayed, the oldest of their kind
The most intelligent, sentient, incredibly wise
Opened it's mouth and began to sing
A ground shaking, ululating, low pitched din
Hidden in its song was a message for man
A warning not to follow and a spacecraft plan
We built their ship and we vowed to take heed
And then we left behind the Earth at superluminal speed
Where are all the whales
They've found their place in space
Remember all the life on Earth before it went away
I wish we could go back
But theres nothing left to see
They're singing their whale songs across the galaxy
I hope they find a planet out there
An oceanic paradise
Free to exist without any threats
A utopian way of life
