Please understand
Woken by the tender lunar screams
As the silver moon recedes
From so close it can almost touch the top of slender falling trees
Your face is carved into the seams
Of the five remaining leaves
As deadly silence leads into
As far as the eye can see
All in some lost forgotten dream
So please hold my hand
All this electric energy
To charge the sky so vividly
Light pink smeared across in seams
You're not sure if you can see
Forever or are you entombed inside a painting or in a dream
But theres no corners to hide into, only haunting clarity
All in some lost forgotten dream
And please my homeland
A second distant moon now in perfect symmetry
It puts you on your knees
As emotions all but freeze
And acknowledgement received
From a glaciers gentle wheeze
As the air beneath is squeezed
And collected by a mountain's gentle breeze
All in some lost forgotten dream
And please understand
And when the rusted orbits seize
And siamese moons fail to release
Your left to wonder if all is borrowed what your next move should be?
Remember that all will be eventually returned to sea
So you let your body leach away into the soil and the trees
All in some lost forgotten dream
All in some lost forgotten dream
All in some lost forgotten dream
All in some lost forgotten dream
