What is considered the norm of everyday life?
You wake up in the morning, get dressed
May or may not eat breakfast, depending on the time you have
Then, you go to work
After 7-8 hours you go back home, shower, eat, sleep
Do it all over again. For 3-5 days a week, 52 weeks straight
However, there are breif moments where none of this applies
Sometimes your day doesn't begin until 9pm
Whether it's overtime or a party
Whether you're drinking or smoking
It always feels like while the rest of the world is sleeping
You're living for this very moment
When the only lights that shine are the artificial ones from the cars driving by
The buildings hovering over us, or the poles guiding us along the roads and sidewalks
I like to refer to this moment as... the nightlife
