Red lights flashing
As they speed on down the highway
Everything has grown so quiet
On this side of New York
And I know there's people
Crying in their doorway
Watchin' those red lights drive away
And knowing they can't go
We all need somebody sometimes
And i'm going down to the harbor
To watch the tide roll out from the shore
And if you feel like walking
Come out where the sky is open
And we can look upon that big ol' super moon
Red lights casting
Angry shadows on the faces
Of everyone that's come outside
To walk these streets and roads
We all saw the face of a man
Who would stand upon another man
I'll never seem to understand
What makes a heart so cold
I could say that there is sometimes
Between the sadness and the sorrow
That lights our paths as we go down the road
And if you feel like walking
Come out where the sky is open
And we can look upon that big ol' super moon
Yea, if you feel like walking
Come out where the sky is open
And we can look upon that big ol' super moon
