Some say I ain't got no prospects down here
Well, hell, why don't y'all just hold my beer
I could prospect for gold right back there in the hills
But I'm gonna sit where the jungle meets the ocean and chill
I found my Eden on the quiet coast of Ecuador
Don't call me back, I don't live there anymore
I got a clear water spring, solar panels and an ocean view
My little sailboat, chickens and a canoe
Life here is simple, just a quick sail to town
Folks here are different, they help when you're down
A little goes a long way in places below the radar
Til they're discovered and paved for condos and rental cars
My Hermosa, she understands me well
Though she cooks stuff I still can't pronounce that's hotter than hell
On this little Eden I plan to remain
Til God calls me home for more of the same
Life here is simple, just a quick sail to town
Folks here are different, they help when you're down
A little goes a long way in places below the radar
Til they're discovered and paved for condos and rental cars
My Hermosa, she understands me well
Though she cooks stuff I still can't pronounce that's hotter than hell
On this little Eden I plan to remain
Til God calls me home for more of the same
