People say this music is just
A bunch of screaming and noise
Or they say that it's really depressing
But for a lot of listeners
This is hope and strength
So it's about perspective
In some ways I think
What I'm trying to do with my music
Is reach people who don't
Really have a lot of parenting
Around them to guide them
Now I'm not suggesting
That I have all of the answers
Or that I can parent them
However I am suggesting
That we create a community
That is constantly interested
In seeking out answers
To the problems
That are holding us back
And making us feel
So trapped and hopeless
