In late August, I left my home
I rolled for a day to a promised zone

Well, I rolled from Michigan to Colorado
A night with a yogi
And I thumbed for a day to Arroyo Hondo
A bus from the Springs, to Raton
And now to El Paso!

So in Denver, Colorado, I smoked Buddha's light
I rambled and I rolled all through that night
Ate a Green Day burger in Colorado Springs
I tried to hitch away, I couldn't make it swing

Now El Paso bound to see family

Hurricane in the desert and to home I leave!

I stayed in Baba's home and sacred wind blew
I meet great people, and they dig me too
