Thanksgiving's twisted, hear my plea
I stuffed the turkey, now it's stuffing me
Gather round folks, hear this absurdity
It's a feast day irony
Wrestled that turkey, got it dressed
Herbs and spices, thought I impressed
Shoved it in the oven, turned to jest
But oh boy, my belly can attest
Started the day, belt losing the notch
Turkey looked scared, it watched the clock
Hours passed, we took our block
Now I'm the one who can barely walk
Stuffing the turkey, now the turkey stuffs me
Gobbling down till I can't even see
It's a wild Thanksgiving, an eating spree
Turkey's revenge, oh what a spree
Plates piled high, we're on a roll
Turkey's plotting, it stole the show
Thought I was hunter, top of the pole
Now I'm stuffed more than casserole
Family's laughing, I'm in distress
Should've worn pants with more stretchiness
Turkey's magic, must confess
I'm defeated, it's made its press
Stuffing the turkey, now the turkey stuffs me
Can't stop eating, it's a gluttony spree
Thanksgiving's gone rogue, can't you see
Turkey's laughing at you and me
Next year I'm vegan, I swear it's true
Can't face another stuffing coup
But who am I kidding, past that brew
Turkey's calling, and I need round two
Evening's end, can't tie my shoe
Turkey's smiling, says who stuffed who
Try to rise, but can only move
This bird's a veg, Thanksgiving's through
So here's a lesson, take it from me
Respect the turkey, or let it be
Cause once you stuff it, you will see
It comes back around, deliciously
