I burnt out believing I could save the fallen world
Before I saved myself
Tried to be a hero but I only crashed and burned
But heaven is born from hell

Maybe it's not selfish to be happy
Maybe I could choose that for myself

Everybody tells us we should work until we die
Living for sacrifice
But I think there's a million ways that we can build a life
So I'll take my own advice
