I woke up on a Friday morning
Excited to celebrate my girl
Her birthday weekend's coming up
And I can't wait to change her world
I wrote a poem for my Lala
She's gonna love the day I planned
When she sees what's on the mirror
She's gonna drift to Lala Land
Lala Land
Lala Land
We all go to Lala Land
With the weekend in sight
On the back of Jeffrey's bike
Jeffrey's daughter is a dyke
When we arrived to the cabin
I watched her face to see her smile
But when I was met with a frown
I knew id have to profess in style
I took the poem from my pocket
And read her the words of old man tucket
But when I finished up my words
She only stopped to mutter "f*ck it"
Lala Land
Lala Land
We all go to Lala Land
With the weekend in sight
On the back of Jeffrey's bike
Jeffrey's daughter is a dyke
I guess not all things are what the seem
Retiring was not for me
My days of working I still face
Relationships have taken the place
I tried to make a family new
But this family, Jeff... was not for you
Lala Land
Lala Land
We all go to Lala Land
With the weekend in sight
On the back of Jeffrey's bike
Jeffrey's daughter is a dyke
Oh well teeheehee
Maybe next year!
