Bo-Dacious - My Thanksgiving Lyrics

The tyrants that controlled you, you wouldn't forget it
You took the ultimate risk, cause freedom was withering
Your courage and faith, ohhh, it was so explicit
You helped create the modern world, this is my Thanksgiving
You were traitors to your old land, like treason committed
But you did it for a real reason, the world you uplifted
Because tyranny is gripping, never relenting
You created the future, so this is my Thanksgiving
You set the stage the Founding Fathers
Recalled in so many texts, by so many authors
You sought a new civilization, America they called it
Helped create a free land for your sons and daughters
That first dinner, you took the first step to unity
The gratitude you instilled in us, it's real, it's true to me
You couldn't take the tyranny, you'd be the few and free
So you started all over across the deep blue sea
The Europeans came and they civilized the land
Before them it was nothing but genocide and
Tribes invading tribes, violations out of hand
No tribe had rights to any un-colonized land
The tyrants that controlled you, you wouldn't forget it
You took the ultimate risk, cause freedom was withering
Your courage and faith, ohhh, it was so explicit
You helped create the modern world, this is my Thanksgiving
So many people hatin' on the men at that dinner
Seeing the peaceful meetin' makin' em triggered
They mad cause the Europeans became the victor
It took a hell of a lot to get there, death, spendin' the silver
Nobody took or stole a single thing
They were either at war or mingling
Some of the land traded for some big and little things
The rest was won in conquest, it's a simple thing
Those were the rules, if you just can't defend it
Then it's not yours, our land, yup, we get it
Just look at how many handouts and grants we've extended
To their descendents, no other nation would even rent or lend it
Ohhh, I wanna thank you for the progress made
To create the modern world, with honest trades
Conquest, and the will, to launch the great
Nation, America, but now we lost in the haze
This was not genocide it was fair-play war
Your people killed ours, took the hair they wore
Guns vs guns, how dare you mourn
All I'm tryna do, is share the lore
But we civilized the West, it was for the better
Despite the hate and lies, the stormy weather
You pioneered the diamond, you forged the treasure
So I just wanted to write y'all this formal letter
I'm givin' thanks for everything that you did
The sacrifice, the hardships, the candle flickering
In the winds of hate, writing this twisted script
I just wanted to thank you for what you gave, and give you this
You were traitors to your old land, like treason committed
But you did it for a real reason, the world you uplifted
Because tyranny is gripping, never relenting
You created the future, so this is my Thanksgiving
