Hey little kids I'm gonna tell ya what we did when I was your age
We played outside all day long until our grandmama's brought out a cool glass of lemonade
On the back porch on a very sunny day
I know it might sound a bit strange
But those were the good Ol days
Those were the good Ol days where everything was in a great place
You didn't have to change
Those were the good Ol days
Where everything just seem right
You didn't have to worry about life
Oh those were the good Ol days
Family wasn't all about hate
It was all about having fun like going into the dining room and playing those board games
Til grandma got ready for the important meal of all families known as supper time
Each and everyone of us shared their own prayers each night
God I love those memories
Those were the good Ol days where everything was in a great place
You didn't have to change
Those were the good Ol days
Where everything just seem right
You didn't have to worry about life
Oh those were the good Ol days
I remember when everybody came over for 4th of July
Uncle june always sat in grandmas chair all the time
Talking about all his crazy stories before the fireworks went off that night
That was such a great time
Those were the good Ol days where everything was in a great place
You didn't have to change
Those were the good Ol days
Where everything just seem right
You didn't have to worry about life
Oh those were the good Ol days
