Remember when I caught a comet
Rode myself across the sky
Barely hanging on it
Its how I learned how to fly
Shooting throught the static
Counted each star going by
And went further the I promised
Suprised I made it back alive
Remember when I sailed a vessel
Bound for a new life in Spain
With the mighty tide it wrestled
Almost made it all the way
The captain and the maiden
Were taken by the wave
I did my best at swimming
And drifted to the bay
Remember when I roamed the desert
I sifted through the sand
The carpet dropped the treasure
But I still had the lamp
The gypsy and the pharoah
Took my monkey for their pet
Whenthe genie shook the bottle
He granted me one last request
Remember when I was a pilot
Speeding in and out of the clouds
Lost focus of the mileage
And had wandered too far out
The engines both went silent
I took a spiral towards the sea
My life had ended tragic
I guess thats the way it was meant to be
