Big Sean - Detroit 2 Album Lyrics

Big Sean - Detroit 2 Lyrics

Why Would I Stop?

Yeah, whoa

This what they been waiting on?

Critical, ain't no time left on the clock

When it's your time, give 'em something to watch

I picked all the locks 'til I buy up the block

And I know I'm a gift but I think out the box

And they want me to stop, but why would I stop? (Huh)

I am unstoppable (hol' up) why would I stop, bitch?

Why would I stop? Chill (chill), I don't jump, I dive in it

(Hol' up, hol' up, hol' up) This the reason I'm alive, isn't it?

This shit the antidote, this the cure cancer flow

Stop a pandemic and the globe

The product of old Ye chopping up the sample flow

Dilla and Pimp C, the triller, this shit might go too trill for Triller though

I see you critical, I'm not hospitable, favorite rappers I done cut they umbilicals

Red Wings jersey, B.I.G look like Pac

The blacker the berry, more they wan' see it rot

I'm going down as one of the GODS, G-O-D-D-O-A, dead or alive

I'm laying low, they could be espionage

This ain't no walk in the park, you can't slide

Solution to everyone else 'round me problems

Next episode, got the whole f*cking world watching

I might leave the series, come back like I'm Rodman

Get it now, or right now, my only two options

So why would I stop, I am unstoppable (hol' up)

Why would I stop, bitch? This shit unstoppable

Chill (chill), I don't jump, I dive in it

(Hol' up, hol' up, hol' up) This the reason I'm alive, isn't it?

The DJ gon' drop this, we made it from scratch

I'm minding my business and all of its black

My dawg on the same way, the mode is attack

I don't complain about life, I adapt

I'm at a point if I f*ck with a lil' ho

It's not just a fling, it's a scandal (on God)

I can't be handing out samples (no way)

I can't be having ten baby mamas

That shit sound like a job not a family (straight up)

And I do this shit for the family (straight up)

Yeah, that's just the roots I had planted (God)

D2 this shit the new standard

Upgraded the city, it got a new feeling, the house that I built (whoa)

House in the hills, ain't no hills in the D, so we all in the field (whoa, whoa)

Runnin' shit 5K, 3K Andre (run it, run it)

Hero in my hood, when they dress like me, that's cosplay

Give a f*ck 'bout a threat, nigga, I'ma threat leaving out the driveway

I never listen to what the odds say

Why when the universe respond to what I say?

(I say, I say, I say, I say, I say, I say, I say, I say)

(I say, I say, I say, I say, I say, I say)

Lucky Me

Lucky me
If they want my spot, then they gotta come for me
Just know I want this shit more than whatever it is you want from me
And the only thought at night that comforts me is starving whoever's hunting me
Shit, lucky me, to be rich in a world where nothing's free
And separated from hell by one degree
Surrounded by niggas who did first degree
And the other ones that never got they first degree, sheesh
Lucky me (nigga), yeah, I done slashed hoes like I'm Slash on some rockstar shit
Even bought Slash old crib, that's rockstar as it gets
And had my hands on the R&B legends you couldn't handle
Whether you do music or not, you wish you could sample
And I had to live through the scandals, public humiliations and breaks up on camera
It's a living nightmare when your dream girl has to get cancelled
And you gotta delete all the photos and shit like you never Instagramed it
And you get off track but somehow you gotta stay transit, ha
Man, lucky me

I was diagnosed with a heart disease at nineteen
Could barely stand on my feet
Doctor said they had to cut it open, put a pacemaker on it to put it back on beat
'Til my mama took me to holistic doctors and they prescribed me magnesium for two weeks
Went back to the regular doctors and they said
"Huh, damn, looks like we don't need to proceed"
That's how I know that western medicine weak
Man lucky me, to be the chosen one
And saved for the special occasions like I was Opus One
You know and I'ma live for ever like Walt Disney, the frozen one
Done flew so many times past the limit, I didn't even know it was one
And faced our problems head on when they told us to run
And ran it up in the city where no one would come
One that had literally died but then came back alive
And that's the furthest thing that I know from over and done
And I don't even have to say it, you know where I'm from, bitch
Lucky me, lucky who? Lucky true
It's a wonder what prayer, working smart, and love can do
And y'all got an efficient and humble crew
And you got a long list of the things y'all wanna do
Shit, who who knows? Lucky me can turn into lucky you

We turn nothing to something so much, it's nothing new
I know lady luck so well, I swear that's like my bottom bitch, number two
Doing what we love and choose with lots to lose and more to prove
Ain't runnin' from nothing but haven't lost sight of the finish line
That we been runnin' to, lil' bitch
This Detroit f*ckin' 2
My thoughts is all black, yeah, I'm back to the roots
F*ck your white flag, ho, I don't want no truce
And we all in the huddle they like, it's on you
Mmm, lucky me, pressure's what I eat
Ain't no roses at my feet, just the blood on the concrete, look

The mission is covert, I stuck to the code and you don't know the code word
Once they turn me up and just know that it's over
My soul is on soulless, surrounded by angels and soldiers on soldiers
World turn me cold, game turned me colder
Sittin' court-side lookin' like I'm finna be the f*ckin' future owner
Cup runneth over and she coming over
And she told me that her lil' bro wanna be me when he older
Look, I ain't gon' hold you, though
Put in my family, I feel like Utopia
Falling in love with a slut is my phobia
My whole team first class, so it ain't no coaching us
Whoa there, don't go there, now slow down lil' brody, I know you don't know me
I buffed up my chest up, I feel like Hulk Hogan, I walk in the building like everybody owe me
Move heaven on earth, this shit feel like erosion
The don, I'm the king, I'm consulting the soldiers
You talk to me nice and not real, I'm insulted
I bet on myself, ain't no way my hands folded
What's a limitation? F*ck your validation, I don't gotta figure, God flow got it renovated
Demon slayer and bitch slayin', legendary it's insulated
Two guards outside barricaded while I'm serenading
Paradise covein' while I'm strokin', pussy tight I'm claustrophobic
She do damn down and devoted, got me wondering what's her motives
Remember my feelings don't mean shit to none of my goals
So I gotta stay focused, this city is soulless, this shit get to vulgar
Seen bodies wrapped up in them white sheets, no COVID

The mission is covert, I stuck to the code and you don't know the code word
Once they turn me up and just know that it's over
My soul is on soulless, surrounded by angels and soldiers on soldiers
World turn me cold, game turned me colder
Sittin' court-side lookin' like I'm finna be the f*ckin' future owner
Cup runneth over and she coming over
And she told me that her lil' bro wanna be me when he older (facts)
Look, I ain't gon' hold you, though
Put in my family, I feel like Utopia
Falling in love with a slut is my phobia
My whole team first class, so it ain't no coaching us
My whole team first class, so it ain't no coaching us
Nobody over us, except the ones we lost, stay watching over us

Prayin' hands, prayin' hands
Say amen, got a lot of to do
But she gon' wait on me (wait on me)
Legendary shit, lucky me (yeah)

Deep Reverence

(Hit-Boy)
(G. Ry got me)

Look, f*ck rap, I'm a street legend
Block love me with a deep reverence
I was birthed in a C-section
Hella cops and police presence
We got opps, so we keep weapons
We on y'all block while y'all eat breakfast
A lot of shots, we broke street records
Watch how you talk, I got reflexes
Watching your cheap necklace
Then we slide out the east exit
But every time we get to f*ckin' niggas up, TMZ catch it
Y'all still learnin' street lessons
From the mastermind, first you master grind
Then your team catch it
This time is for the money, I don't need credit
And I'm the don 'cause the streets said it, look
(F*ck rap, I'm a street legend)
And I'm the don 'cause the streets said
(Block love me with a deep reverence) yeah, whoa
And I'm the don 'cause the streets said it

Yeah
And I got pressure on me
Seven days a week, it's game seven on me
Life'll test you out, you live through that, that's testimony
Givin' 'em hell but how in the hell I got all these blessings on me?
Most of the girls I know addicted to social media
All this time they put in, they could've wrote encyclopedias
Mama said it only takes one time to f*ck up your whole Wikipedia
And as your son, I could see the type of light that you see me in
After what happened to Nipsey I reached out to Kendrick
It wasn't even no real issues there to begin with
Lack of communication and wrong information from people
Fueled by the ego is like mixing flames with diesel
Energy crazy, I realize that it's a two way street
What's coming is going if it don't give you more, it drains you
Should be a billionaire based on the time off I'm not taking
Probably why this shit with me get crazy and we lost a baby
And everybody around me think I'm the one
But we all just one of ones
And I'm walkin' out the crib, they ask me where I'm going
I told 'em I'm goin' on another ten year run
Niggas is banging over blocks that they don't own, thinking that's home
Boy, you think that's where you're from?
You don't really know where you're from
You don't know how deep your roots is or what your ancestors had done
So God bless all the sons and daughters who knew their history
So they knew where to take it farther
And all the ones that stuck with me like good barbers
Lookin' at my life story, God's a good author
Never was the loudest in the room, we move like ninjas
And if it cost you peace of mind, it might be too expensive
So I can give you everything that you want from me for free though
Get you one shot in life, you might not be able to reload
So advanced, I need all my advances
Bro hit me up for cash like we didn't have the same chances
My Dad hit me up like, why I don't live in a mansion?
I'm tryna focus, but baby girl, keep holding my mind for ransom
And that ain't how it's supposed to be
This man Hov got to a B
And his name Shawn too, I almost felt like it was me
Damn, I realize all my setbacks were inside of me
In high school I learned chemistry, biology
But not how to cope with anxiety
Or how I could feel like I'm by myself on an island
With depression on all sides of me (damn)
With a Glock 17 right on the side of me (hold up)
Look, I ain't think I had the thought of suicide in me
Until life showed me all these different sides of me
Too many times I thought the reaper was outside for me
And how the f*ck is people that never met me that hate me?
I wonder if they understand that I meditate daily
And feel like my life purpose is to give inspiration
Despite the hit songs that there's just no escaping
That I take care of my family and beat the odds that were deadly
You hate that? That just reflects your lack of succession
Bless 'em, if it ain't Nipsey blue, it's Detroit blue
This that Detroit 2, I'm bringin' it back to the hood like D boys do, gone

So the collaboration though with Nipsey and who?
Aww man, I'd prolly say Payroll or Tee Grizzley
Me and Big Sean talked about doing something recently too
So, you know all of 'em, I'ma, I'ma tap in with all of Detroit

(F*ck rap, I'm a street legend)
(Block love me with a deep reverence)

Wolves

Uh
Yeah, uh, that's right, uh, yeah
Yeah, uh
I was raised by the wolves (I was raised by)
I was raised by the wolves (I was raised by)

I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full (I was raised by)
Run through the night, playing with ya life
Go against the pack, that's risking ya life (I was raised by)
Better play it right, yeah, you better play it right

I got loyalty and blood, I do anything for love
And everything for us, doing everything like everything ain't been too much
You know my favorite time to come through for ya is the clutch, last second, what a rush
Look, I'm the type to talk to the stars (I look up)
Straight up, these ain't tattoos these are scars
My young dogs will tear you and the witnesses apart (straight up)
They care about starving more than they do about a charge (whoa, whoa, whoa)
Me, I can't break a commitment (no)
I done seen people f*ck up the whole team 'cause they couldn't play they position
Talking about they didn't mean it, bitch
You know the road to hell was paved with good intentions
I see myself in my nemesis, I contemplated forgiveness, I think I lost all my innocence
Ho, my life depend on this, this ain't no simple sucka shit
Try and steal and you get bit, that's what you mothaf*cking get
I feel safer taking risks and I can't eat this on my own life
Put my back against the wall just to see how much I've grown, dawg

I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full (I was raised by)
Run through the night, playing with ya life
Go against the pack, that's risking ya life (I was raised by)
Better play it right, better play it right

I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full
Run through the night, playing with ya life
Go against the pack, that's risking ya life
Better play it right, yeah, you better play it right

I was raised by the wolves, paid all my dues
Always in the game and never played by the rules
Try to make me leave, fell down to my knees
Picked myself up and turned my back to the breeze
Oh, oh-oh
Spent a milli on a milli, mama look at me
With all these diamond chokers, man, it's getting hard to breathe
Now that you are family, cut some branches off my tree
But if you in my circle, know I'll always be around
Don't let me down, you said you'd die for me, well, there's the ground
Ice on my wrist, ice in my veins
But it's a cold, cold world, and you can be predator, you can be prey

I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full
Run through the night, playing with ya life
Go against the pack, that's risking ya life
Better play it right, better play it right

'Cause I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full ('til they full)
Run through the night, playing with ya life (with ya life)
Go against the pack, that's risking ya life (risking ya life)
Better play it right, yeah, you better play it right

I was raised by the wolves (I was raised by)
I was raised by the wolves (I was raised by)
I was raised by the wolves, ate 'til they full (I was raised by)
Run through the night, playing with ya life
Go against the pack that's risking ya life
Better play it right, yeah, you better play it right (woo)

Body Language

(Body to body, cheek to cheek, soulful moaning)
Yeah

Don't just take your clothes off, take the problems off
Take the armor off, take all the drama off
Let go of your responsibilities you been holding down
Know it's a lot on your mind, but I need your focus now
I need that (soulful moaning), yeah
I give you that (soulful moaning), yeah
(Late night conversation, can you speak my body language?)

Bring that body to me
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me
Oh, yeah, baby, I'll give you ecstasy
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me, ooh, yeah

Girl, I'm talking body to body
Cheek to cheek
Soulful moaning
And girl, your lips taste so sweet
Girl, I'm talking body to body
Cheek to cheek (I'll give you that)
Soulful moaning (yeah, f*ckin' right)
Ooh, yeah (yeah)
Ooh, yeah (yeah)
Look

I know, I have people in my circle, but they weren't in my corner
I had people in my business, but they didn't support it
But took advantage of me like they supposed to do with their moments
Everything you didn't do, but could've did if you wanted
Working overtime, it's time I could be taking you down
Real shit, I gotta quit acting like these niggas don't want my place
When I ain't around, even though niggas ain't threats
I know if I don't live with you I gotta live with regrets
I might walk in while you showerin'
Hit you in your shower cap, you gripping on the towel rack
I'm bussin' while you buss back, in the bathtub pouring champagne on that ass like I'm Dame Dash
Goddamn, yo last nigga blew it with his lame ass

Bring that body to me
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me
Oh, yeah, baby, I'll give you ecstasy
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me, ooh, yeah (yeah, uh)

Late night conversation, can you speak my body language?
I ain't got no time to waste, you got me losing patience
I can't wait to get you over here and get you naked
I'm about to ride that dick so crazy, I might break it
I'm so horny, show me something
Body to body, cheek to cheek, soulful moaning

Bring that body to me
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me
Oh, yeah, baby, I'll give you ecstasy
Baby, come closer, closer
Bring it to me, ooh, yeah

Girl, I'm talking body to body
Cheek to cheek
Soulful moaning
And girl, your lips taste so sweet
Girl, I'm talking body to body
Cheek to cheek
Soulful moaning
Ooh, yeah
Ooh, yeah

In the city of murder, mayhem and narcotics
We got enough problems
Now it's time for that (soulful moaning)
(Oh baby, oh baby)

Story by Dave Chapelle

There's never been a single time
Not a, not a one that I've been to Detroit
Where it wasn't some kind of adventure
The city is f*cking crazy, it's like it's palpably alive
It's an entity, it's not like just a place you go, it's, it's Detroit
And one of the reasons that Detroit is my favorite market
Is because the audiences in Detroit, for a comedian, I find them to be particularly challenging
So when I go there, in this particular story, it seemed like a pretty benign night
And I'm sitting in the dressing room at the Fillmore and there's a older gentleman in there
And I don't really talk to the guy much, but he was a nice guy, cool energy, shit like that
And then, uh, famed Detroit rapper Danny Brown came in
Now at this time, I wasn't that familiar with Danny Brown's music, you know what I mean?
So when he asked me to smoke with him, I just smoked with him
I didn't hear all that Aderall, Aderall and all that shit, I didn't know he was 'bout that life
I'm assuming it's weed, I don't know what the f*ck it was, but, boy
I mean, I smoked weed a million times in my life
Never ever remember feeling this way before and as I was walking on stage
I told my road manager, "You know my number's up tonight"
He's like, "What does that mean?"
"I'm going to bomb", and true to my professional prescription, I did
But there's bombing, then there's the shit that happens in Detroit
It's like the crowd was with me, but the way the crowd responded to me widely
Was one of my favorite crowd interactions ever and as the set is going terrible
When it's clear I'm not gonna be able to pull the nose up and I'm gonna have to crash this thing
I saw Danny Brown slipping out the room, which made me laugh really hard
Go back in the dressing room, everyone you know
There's a stink on you after you bomb, where everyone looks at you like, you know what I mean?
Like Headwound Harry like, "Nigga, are you okay?"
But I really I can't explain it to you, I really didn't care
And then, and then it turns out that this kind, older gentleman was Big Sean's father
And my goodness, the, the, he gave me a pep talk that only a dad could give
And it made me feel wonderful man (wow)
So shoutout to you Big Sean, shoutout to Detroit
I'll never stop loving your city and I'll never stop loving you, bro
You guys are the truth, much love to the Motor City

But I gotta thank God though
'Cause he got me workin' harder than my demons (whoa, whoa)
God got me workin' harder than my demons (whoa)

Now we two up, who, us?
Yeah, real ones learn the work through us (through)
Baby girl wanna dance, wanna groove, wanna vibe
But you know my best move is the one where you end up on my side
The ground on the mountain top feel the same as rock-bottom (bottom)
Quit my f*ckin' job, that's when the real work started
Still showed up every mornin', every evenin' of every season (straight up, whoa)
What's the reason? God got me workin' harder than my

Demon (mmm)
Harder than my demons (demons, harder than my demons)
Harder than my demons, demons, demons, demons
I been fightin' every season

Everything Thats Missing

(Mainly, whatever the f*ck you say means something
That shit is in you, you ain't gotta try that hard
I just want you to know that)

There's no romancing without the pain
Just like there's no loss without some gain
Just like there's no day without a blessing
Just like no paydays without finessin'
But when who hurt you's forgiven
And all the late nights you been wishing
Finally pay off and go the distance
I pray you get everything you missing
Everything you missing, dawg
I pray you get everything you missing
Everything you missing
I pray you get everything you missing

I'm 'bout to delete my Twitter and follow my intuition
Been in and out the mud, but somehow I'm in mint condition
I wonder if granddad woulda seen these Instagram vixens
Every fifteen minutes when he had did everything that he did or he didn't
I wonder how it feels to be rapping, swear that's my f*cking passion
How it feel to go platinum, swear that's my dream but he too blind to see
That if he doing what he love in his free time, then his dream already happened
It's not about the trophy, it's 'bout what it took to grab it
And if you feeling stagnate, just know that you attracting the energy
That you put out there, you a walking magnet
Life will be a struggle but what isn't, that's worth having (huh?)

There's no romancing without the pain
Just like there's no loss without some gain
Just like there's no day without a blessing
Just like no paydays without finessin'
But when who hurt you's forgiven
And all the late nights you been wishing
Finally pay off and go the distance
I pray you get everything you missing
Everything you missing, dawg
I pray you get everything you missing
Everything you missing

New life start with a blank canvas
Tryna find yourself, you move to Lost Angeles
Where the camera's off, you still not off camera
And that meeting that's supposed to change your life keep getting canceled
Swear my prayers gon' get answered before these execs'll answer
Shit, expenses get too expensive, but you gon' do what it takes to do the digits
Even do the dishes, 'cause you gotta prove to the world how you committed
You got a whole city to inspire, it's so cold in the D so through they eyes you on fire
Going platinum once like catching lighting in a bottle, but you do it fifty times
And you realize contracts say a lot between the lines
But through the ups and downs, you make a blueprint that the city can build they own way out
And when they do, it's gon' feel like that you almost did it
And you buy everything you want, but it barely make you different
And you find out random bitches can't even compare to commitment
And you learn hearing doubts doesn't mean you have to listen
And you can't believe how much you made, not money, a difference
And find out everything you had was everything you missing

I don't get mad, I don't react, I just relax (relax)
Good vibes or no vibes, my vibes, I cut the cords, no hooks, no ties
Yeah, no road blocks, kill that off road sign
I'm more like coach how I motivate mine
You more like ref how you play both sides
Can't sit around, let the day go by
Can't sit around ,let opps take your spot
Eat your food, f*ck your wife, look down and say f*ck your life
If you been down you stayed up all night, sleep deprived but wake up alright
F*ck it ,you gotta be tired, I done survived things I shouldn't survive
So what? That gotta be God (my God), top five, number one, quit trying to even the odds

Signal going in and out (prr), swimming at the house (wait)
Live with no doubts (whoa), zen the f*ck out (yeah)
Big dog plays (big), the payoffs in route (swerve)
Laid across the couch (whoa), I'm zen the f*ck out (it's lit)
Signal going in and out (prr), swimming at the house (wait)
Live with no doubts (whoa), zen the f*ck out (yeah)
Big dog plays (big), the payoffs in route (swerve)
Laid across the couch (whoa), I'm zen the f*ck out (it's lit)
Zen the f*ck out (prr), zen the f*ck out (let's go)
Laid across the couch (couch), I'm zen the f*ck out (zen)
Zen the f*ck out (zen), zen the f*ck out (swerve)
Laid across the couch (whoa), I'm zen the f*ck out (zen the f*ck out)

You either in or you out
You either sure or you doubt
Don't be bringing all that f*cked up energy 'round through to my house
This shit's a meditation, medicate on dedication
The time I reservation

Guard Your Heart

Yeah (oh yeah)

I'm broken in pieces, down to the soul
I know the whole world can feel it
I know that they can see it (oh)
Oh, I hate to admit that I need you
I need you, I need you next to me
You said that you would ride for me
And I hear you, but right now
I need to feel you right next to me
'Cause this is all I got, prove that you got me
(Oh yeah) Oh yeah, yeah (broken in pieces)
'Cause this is all I got, prove that you got me

Yeah
So if you say, "nigga", then I'ma say, "Is that a Ritz?" Mmm, ooh
Fifty niggas deep (deep), hunnid niggas step
Million Man March (mmm), cracker, don't you start (yeah)
Hold your head, guard your heart, hold your head (uh)
Nigga, get your bread, light your spark, strike your mark, life don't stop
So hold your head, guard your heart, hold your head (yeah)

Conflicted in this free based world of give and take (take)
'Cause I always rather give than to be the one sayin' thanks (whoa)
Conflicted like bein' signed to Ye and managed by Jay
Conflicted like bein' cool with Pusha and Drake (damn)
Conflicted like reppin' a city where I hardly stay (stay)
Or knowin' that you wrong but its too hard to say
Hold your head (hold your head), guard your heart (guard your heart)
In my life, those were the hardest parts (yeah)
So many dark times, I wish I caught a spark
Or learned not seein' eye to eye could be fixed with a heart to heart (God)
So many lost, I feel lost, got me feelin' like a real nigga, Holocaust
Got me mournin' while its dark (dark)
Life will eat you alive, we know how to be a meal
Shit, rather than see a mill to make it out you need a skill (yeah)
Thought I was past my past, but let's be clear (clear)
Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear (swerve)
Regrettin' everything in life is my only fear (my only fear)
And you know what they say about not conquerin' fears (what?)
If you don't, then they'll always be near
As that reminder in your ear, shit that I ain't tryna hear (nah)
Hold your head (hold your head), guard your heart (guard your heart)
In my life, those were the hardest parts (swerve)
Oh, you mistake me for fallin' down for fallin' off (whoa)
Or mistake me bein' soft for speakin' from the heart
I guess life hasn't taught you as much as you thought
Instead of pickin' up yo missin' pieces, you pick me apart (God)

Boy, hold your head but guard your heart
Got tired of white silence, so the riots started
And the robbers robbed, you wylin' 'cause your product gone?
We mad that Eric Garner, Breonna, Gianna father gone (yeah)
A lot of trauma, we tired, exhausted
Ermias the prophet, said it'd be a marathon, look
Seen all my dawgs, shown me God was watchin' (whoa)
Pandemic slowin' 'em down, they fastin', Ramadan
The land of fifty stars, on Hollywood marchin'
White friends don't got us, I promise you, I block 'em (straight up)
I'ma count my bread, I defied the odds
And f*ck the Saint quarterback, 'cause he ain't Saint Laurent
Boy, from here on out we on Peyer Moss
If we leave Reebok, we still bringin' pumps and all the broads
Yeah, I motivate (I motivate), I don't divide (I don't divide)
The 45 a coward for practicin' otherwise
A burnt nation, still it's under God
Not gonna throw the towel in, I'm by my brother's side
Your niggas be your niggas when you level up
You see that yo niggas and brothers different when luck is up
So I trust nothin', this industry's somethin'
My biggest rival is my mind protectin' my thoughts as well as my heart

Fifty niggas deep, hunnid niggas step
Million Man March, cracker, don't you start
Hold your head, guard your heart, hold your head (uh)
Nigga, get your bread, light your spark, strike your mark, life don't stop
So hold your head, guard your heart, hold your head (yeah)

Why complain about things I can change? Yeah (I can change)
Souljas 'round me, we done been through major pain (major pain)

Wednesday he had ranned up on me, I got ruthless
Thursday I'm Ferrari horsing, niggas moosin', yeah
I just had to wake up and pay Uncle Sam today
I been in the trenches giving back like anyway, yeah (no cap)
I just bought the pinky Birky for my Easter baby
Got her throwing diamonds in the air like it's a play pen
Can't let 'em trick me out of nothing long as I'm livin'
I can't let her go outside long as I'm gettin' it
I won't let never hold a freak ho against her will
Still won't let 'em do me any kind of way with no skill

Ain't nobody finna do me any type of way
Ain't nobody finna do that
Ain't nobody finna do me any type of way (respect)

All that fake shit over, we don't take, we take shit over
Army, Navy, paper soldiers, cut the grass and face the cobras
I'm a walking bucket list, product of my suffering
Kobe at the Rucker, bitch
Triple and double and running this shit, I learned that praying is God ammunition
Please let it rain down 'til it drown out my city
The fruits of my labor came all to fruition
You talkin' 'bout I, you ain't got no vision
We, not me, little bitch, built like we sell bricks
F*ck blogs, read my lips
Doing me dirty the only thing that you won't do in this bitch, bitch

It was out, but now it's tucked
Know back home they proud of us right now

Military with the tactics, multi-million, multi-facet

Full Circle

Yeah, doing donuts in the Porsche at the dealer, listening to Dilla
The Lord always made a way, yeah, that's my nigga
You used to drive the Honda Civic, nigga, I remember
I was being optimistic, I ain't have a pot to piss in
I was living on my ex-girl couch, terrible
All my money kept going out, I ain't have enough to move
I felt like a vegetable, lived 2012 on a sectional
Damn, couple years later I'm living exceptional
Spent thirty thousand, my Rollie came extra gold
Bitch ass niggas just mad I'm gettin' on

Oh, oh, oh
Welcome to the terror dome, my, how my hair has grown
All I wanted was a Rollie and a 2Pac herringbone
Midwest kids damn near all we used to hear was Bone
Two family flat, mommy and aunt used to share a home
Boy, I'll rip your heart out and eat it while its still beatin'
For no real reason, just blame on killin' season
Circle of life, top of the food chain, my new chain a circle of ice
My name deserving the lights
The smartest thing you could do is stop music and finish school
Gotta be the dumbest shit I ever heard in my life
If yesterday is the tomb, then tomorrow is the womb
Waiting on the son of God 'cause he coming back soon, hol' up
Flash backs of me dancing in my living room was my first audition
Puff, B.I.G and Ma$E waving gold bottles in the lenses like

Never let you me go, that's the worst feeling (whoa)
I still love you like my first million
You got my hypnotized like the scene with B.I.G. and I reverse wheelin' (damn)
CÎROC boys, blue circle business, that's full circle (yeah)
Full circle like losing friends from backin' up Ye to rapping for Ye
Who dropped his first album, I was in the 10th grade
To ten years later me dropping a number one the exact same day
Swear everything comes full circle, dawg, you just gotta wait
Full circle like listening to B.I.G.
To growing up they calling you Big
Full circle like giving your first Rolex to your first kid
Full circle like exactly what the f*ck karma is
Full circle like every single thing I ever did

Yeah, niggas don't even make shit like this no more, haha
Shit lost, it's-it's a lost motherf*cking art
I want the people out there in the world to hear me, though
I don't do it alone

Drop all the jealousy, that shit is gon' hurt you
Quit giving energy to ones that don't deserve you
You know everything comes full circle
I just show love, watch it come full circle
And I can never let those bad vibes inside my circle, nah
And loyalty deserves you
And tell the f*cking truth, even when it hurts too
But the most money come before the first two (straight)
Don't worry, it'll come full circle

Took all the pain that I knew and made songs
When God said, "Let there be light", he made Sean

TWENTY88 - Time In

Coming back live, this Keith Sweat

And as we wind it down from a long day

And hopefully to an even longer night

With the one you love and care about the most

Or the one you want to know the most

Detroit 2, baby

Yeah

What's the timing?

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the, put the

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I know it's been a while

But I feel like perfect timing

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna grind and

I just wanna spill everything

That's on your mind and

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the tip in (put the tip in)

Give your ass a tip then

Give you a tip like, knowledge?

Tip like money? Or both?

Yeah

You been on the way for an hour

But you only stay twenty five away

I know we been friends for a while

Sometimes that gets in the way

Swear my grand parents was friends too

And they love was beautiful

But losing a lover and a friend is like going though two funerals

That's my worst habit

Playing out things that's yet to happen

Sometimes my imagination moves faster than reality happens

It just so happens I already know your favorite shit

And I already got your favorite liq'

And I got the playlist hits of the greatest, I feel your energy miles away

'Cause quality people deserve quality time

And I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

I just wanna put the time in

See what's on your mind and

Maybe I'll put the tip in

Maybe I'll put the tip in

Maybe I'll give you a tip then

Yeah, tip like knowledge and like money

I can't f*ck with money hungry hoes out here that's living scummy (scummy)

I just wanna put the time in (yeah)

I just wanna put the time in

Maybe you could put your tongue in it

Maybe we can have some fun with it, haha

I just wanna put the time in

I wanna put the time in

I wanna put the time in

See what's on your mind and

Story by Erykah Badu

Here I am, Miss Badu, not Big Sean
But I don't f*ck with you
It's 'cause I'm from the D, the other D
But Detroit has a special place in my heart
Creative, deep, rooted, organic, cosmic, fantastic, futuristic, ancient, musical
When I think of Detroit, I think of these things
There something in that dirty water that gives it its flavor
There's an invisible intelligence that runs though the streets like an underground rooting system
Millions and billions of memory of atoms of all of the beautiful music that has been created there
And I've seen it evolve into things only felt in the heart, I know this to be true
Thank you Berry Gordy, for that little house
Thank you Stevie Wonder for always calling me and reminding me that it is there, that thing
I always long to reconnect with it when I lose my way musically
Thank you J Dilla for your peculiar, peculiar intelligence
Yeah, Detroit just has a magic, and I know it to be true
Not Big Sean, but I don't f*ck with you
Live from Badubotron, Nubian phenomenon
Detroit, where the Nubians grow

But it's still Latins that's rapping' to it
Pursuit of happiness, I had to prove it
The best part 'bout problems is problems all come with solutions
That's why I don't focus on no legacy shit
All I care about is plugging friends and fam, that's it
And being the missing link to all they goals and dreams, that's it
And sinking the winning shot while I'm triple teamed for the chip (bitch)

And I'ma let my whole soul glow
I cant kick it with you no mo, can't miss no mo goals
Best linens and my bitch down like she Yoko Ono
When the reaper say its time to go, I'ma say, "No, no, no"

How am I supposed to leave all this? For what?

People are hungry for, for something that means, really means something
They're hungry man, they like, f*cking, you know what I mean they
Because their starving, they get so much bullshit you know
Bullshit, there's so much of it

In the trenches it's a different kind type of tension
Made a way out of no way, I did shit different
Man, f*ck that tea shit, this that supa-dupa lemonade
Took it back to where we started just to see how far we came
I heard you keep what you love that's valuable inside your safe
I keep my inside my heart, I guess we value different things
I make all my haters proud of me when I'm in this mentality
Had people that loved me doubting me, but that being the best out of me

Don Life

We marvel about some athlete
Earning ten or fifteen million a year
Well, if that's the case, that athlete must be worth to his owners, billions of dollars

Getting to the paper like it's human nature
Goddamn, the more they hate us, that just motivate us
I know revenge taste the sweetest, mmm, I'm gon' savor
I'm just sending all my graces up to my creator
No negotiation, this is world domination
You can't fill the trophy cases up with nominations
I'm the Alpha Omega, that means you can't replace us
That mean I'm throwing dice in Vegas betting all the wages
My girl expensive, remember you get what you pay for
Big, big pay off moves on and off the radar
You cant afford to miss a layup when you in the playoffs, uh, press on, stress gone
I give this shit blood, flesh, bone, can't catch me, I skate to my destiny
That's necessity, you can't out finesse me
She like chocolate, Nestle, brown and sexy
Touch me, tease me, please me, just don't test me
I'm the bar, my weight up, you can't press me
Legendary bloodline, my ancestry, ooh, I'm devoted and hated
I recoded the Matrix
I just loaded the bases
And you know I'ma make a hit

Getting to the paper like it's human nature (getting to the paper like it's human nature)
Getting to the paper like it's human nature, uh
Getting to the paper like it's human nature
No time to relax, we ain't in Jamaica
Getting to the paper like it's human nature, uh

Lil Tunechi
I been having conversations with the constellations
We keep the shit between us, just like a doctor patient
The happiest intoxication make the problems weightless
I'ma need some sanitation for the time that's wasted
Told my shrink that life is crazy, he said, "Life is crazy"
I bought a house so f*cking big it feel like I'm my neighbors
I told my weed man, "I need nature," he accommodate me
I got two choppas look alike I call 'em croc and gator
Flowers looking quite amazing, I ain't like the fragrance
I stand beside a baby, see who you decide to play with
I'ma take my f*cking chances, I'm a lucky bastard
My heart race 'til it catch up to who it's running after
Oh my gosh, I'm gone, I'm on a planet I'm not on
Said, "That there'll be light," but then all my lights were blown
Yeah, I know my rights, I mean I know right from wrong
I know yayo white, it's sweeter than a yellow bone
I know love is life and I know life is never long
I made plans to get away and in the morning I be gone
Man, I mind f*ck her, no foreplay
Brain wash my thoughts fade, brain storm no storm chase
Guilty conscience, no court date, Lil Tunechi

Detroit (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Getting to the paper like it's human nature (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Getting to the paper like it's human nature (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Get this shit no matter how long it take us
I been having conversations with the constellations
Getting to the paper like it's human nature
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Black music sells about sixty percent of the music sold in the world
It outsells other people's native music
And yet, we are willing to sing for pennies a record

Big nigga fresher than you, f*ck you and your stylist (woah)
Paid 90 for my grill and lost it, that's why I ain't smilin' (damn)
You got Sean, you got Hit, you got Grizz, Kash Dolla
Paint you red, throw you in the water
They gonna think you a lobster, nigga (gang)

Uh
I just dropped a kit, you dropped out of school
These hoes wanna be famous 'til they make the news
All my bitches winnin', how it feel to lose?
Nigga tryna get the box like he finna move
Bitch, I'm at my pinnacle I used to shop at Pinnacle, your nigga still drink Pinnacle
Bitch, your taste is pitiful
I talk cash shit, you ain't cash shit, call up Baby Choppa, Cash Kidd, and spend my cash, kid
You stay back like adlibs, I buy, I don't ask shit, I pop shit and pop tags, bitch
This New Era be cappin', uh
Me, Sean, T off that Pusha T, ain't no pushin' me, bro might put you on a tee
Dot my eyes and cross my T's, bro might put you six feet or bro gon' put you on your feet
But bro can't put you on to me, A plus pussy worth a B, nigga, uh
You niggas ain't worth no B, f*ck outta here

I keep dyin' in my dreams, but life's great when I stay woke
Bet you love dreamin', that's the only time you ain't broke
Try me, .40 make you back up off me like Dej Loaf and Big Sean
Get triggered down, Jhene Aiko
Gotta keep Glock in the fanny, nigga, you not finna ham me, huh
Put a body on a ratchet, I feel like Dr. Miami
Niggas tryna ride my wave like they stoppin' a taxi
On a six, in a Lamb', but I'm not that bitch Mary (Helluva made this beat, baby)

Four-one
They counted me out, I came back with a vengeance
And back to back Benzes, back to back winnin'
Rap failed, oh well, gimme back my scale and a burn out cell, I'll grow clientele (yup)
Four-one P, I don't sell dreams, I wholesale P's, want half's nigga, don't call me
Don't insult me (boy), wrist frosty, 'bout eighty what this shit cost me
Don't worry, I'll make it back before you sip coffee
I run with hustlers n' bosses, bosses n' hustlers, had to find my hustle I was lost in the gutter
Got out that jam now it's foreigns with the seats peanut butter
Bitch, it's BYLUG for life, never crossin' my brothers

(Let's go)
(Helluva made this beat, baby)

I f*ck with 6 Mile, not too much the 7, they freed the 4s
That's your bitch, huh? Well, get her together, she f*ckin' bro
You know them road trips still bring a dub in, sub in
Even if the party was seven, the strip club ten
I'm all in this bitch on the tether, I'm throwin' dubs still
I put her in the Bentley, mansion rent free
Told her keep the G-Wagen plain, don't even tint these
Can't be f*ckin' with a lame, dawg, you got her head big
Three hundred a line for the Wock', I'm sippin' red still
I know how the feds feel, I make it hard to catch me
Cuz sellin' corn still, codeword for reggies
I ain't sign a deal yet, f*ck it, I don't need 'em
Everybody with me eatin' free my niggas 'til I see 'em
He ain't dead we ain't even, jet back, ante up, bitch
Free them boys

(Shit hard)
(Where you at, Bo?)

We gon' make it off the ave, get a half, then I shake it
Somethin' like a bad habit, we ain't have it, we gon' take it
Came up off a fifty slab, now my bag big as yappers
Workers beggin' me for time off, askin' me for raises
Took me six hours to count it, bubble wrap it up and tape it
All my bitches want allowance, plug askin' me for favors
I been out of town so long, had to get reacquainted with the neighbors
On the block all these cash we been rakin'

Way before the rap when I was writin' verses
We was beatin' up the Ike like I was Tina Turner
We was loadin' up the Glock and fillin' up the hearses
Now I'm preachin' like it's Sunday, tryna teach the sermon
Tryna teach 'em how to get it, fill up they mama purses
So they ain't standin' in front of judge listenin' to the verdicts
'Cause we was standin' on the block thuggin' with the serpents
Get caught with Curtis Blow on me and they gon' close the curtains (yeah, yeah)

Million dollar cars you can't merge in, BasedGod how I got my curse lift
She gon' play her part so well you thought that she rehearsed it
Don life worship, holly temple, synagogue, tabernacle, churches

Yeah (Hit-Boy)
Look, I can't even chill I get active, overdoin' everythin' my best and worst habit
Shit be impossible 'til it happens, I never thought I'd see Kobe go before Magic
That taught me first, no seconds to waste, only waist I like is her legs wrapped around my face
F*ck you think she doin' over here, watchin' Netflix?
Beard game, might just let it grow down to my necklace, uh
I don't hope for wins, I expect it, uh, adrenaline in me like it got injected
My girl said I got communication issues, no I don't
I just don't like sharin' all my problems more than the results
I bring the plan back to my team, tell 'em go wild
God body, my physique, and my profile
I did every single goal that I wrote down, checked it off it's old now
And that shit give me chills, f*ck I gotta take yours
I'm the originator, make it then I make more, written in stone, you can't forge
You ain't on my level even if we in the same buildin' on the same floor
Oh boy, black out, dough boy, cash out, payroll
Contract maxed out, cash kid, cash cow, tapped in, I can't tap out
Bitch, keep thinkin' I'm sleepin' in, it's Tony on the monitor, I see your ass creepin' in
Little bitch, if it weren't for me you wouldn't exist, you get the gist?
F*ck a cease and desist, they shootin' up seats in exits
Throwin' plays to my bros, I'm leadin' the league in assists
Hop scotch, black top, I ain't been skippin' a step since
Real estate, Zillow every day, bitch, I might just change my profession
Dodged so many rainy days, it changed my complexion
Hang up on your ass and say I lost the connection
I turned out to be the man that I manifested

(Let's go then)

Hmm, f*ck the bullshit, I ain't here to make no friends, can't get bool with me
Since an adolescence, I was ignorant, up in school trippin'
Pistol at my desk, I was sittin' up in school with it
Put your bitch hand in my corner pocket, play pool with it
She gon' eat the dick, both balls licked, and do it to me (what else?)
Ain't go to college, I ain't want no pussy nigga roomin' with me
Still coulda went to college, Sada ain't no fool, nigga
Every clip we got extended, yellow Perkies look like minions
Put Church's Chicken on you niggas, scrape them boys for half a biscuit
You know I like the burner but I'll beat your ass, this shit personal, huh
Hit a nigga in his shit with this fifty or thirty, duh

(Yeah, go Royce)

Name a nigga out of the D as solid as me
I unlocked a lot of dollars, nigga, knowledge is key
I did it all without a college degree
I went from hottest signed artist, don dada, to G
Street lord, rock bottom, Godfather and P
D-Boy, Rottweiler, Sean, Sada and Tee
Standin' on the corner three days, phone is on Motorola prepaid
Diadora or a gold Ellesses
These are ordered from the older East Bays
She either rollin' with the owners or the lessees
A kind man knows a blind man holds grudges
A wise man knows a wise man knows nothin'
I thought I told you mother f*ckers I ain't need a budget
I ride with them guys that society begrudges
We been thuggin' worldwide got arenas buzzin'
We survived gettin' fronted by Ilena cousin
Before you could sell like Cole and Adele
Or go NFL, be Kobe or Kells
The plight of the rich is to throw you in jail
The fight as been fixed since the openin' bell
And you know who postin' your bail? Who promotin' your L?
Who be hopin' you fail? Nigga, Oprah and Gayle
Ignore the hate, show the world that we love the opps
Call Lyor great while they make rape Russell docs
Nah

(Okay, yeah)
(Hit-Boy)
Yeah (G.Ry got me)

Bitch, you have never said a clever line ever
You murderin' in the booth is the furthest thing from the truth
Rest assured, I'ma treat this booth like I'm pealin' off the plastic
On a pill bottle, I'm tearin' the ceilin' off, yeah
Rippin' rappers like they were wrapped in Saran, bitch
And I'm strapped up with ammunition and sin'le handedly takin' over the game
Like I had an actual hand missin', but I only need one to clap
Animal ambition, the only butt-f*ckin' way that your strapped is for cash
Wish you could slap in the damn clip in that motherf*ckin' imaginary little hand gun you're brandishin'
Bitch, if you pull up with the stick, it's a car with a manual transmission
The chances are low to none that I will overcome my bipolar one
Voodoo dolls, I'm just pokin' fun, pins to me are like loaded guns
When I'm holdin' one, if I'm just fiddlin' with it
This motherf*cker discharges like me checkin' myself out of the f*ckin' mental hospital
And I get off like an acquittal, I spit it, you critique it
It feels like I'm bein' belittled by midgets
It's like holdin' a nuke or a damn bazooka
And walkin' right up in the middle of a little kids f*ckin' pillow fight with it
You want smoke? I'm like hookah
Man, I remember back when I use to get jumped for my f*ckin' Pumas, run home and go f*ck my room up
These streets will try to vacuum you up
That's why the avenue where I grew up was 8 Mile and Hoover (what?)
'Cause it sucked like a Roomba but even if I would've went the indie route
I don't have any doubt, I would still get blown like it's windy out
Shoot 'til the clip is emptied out
This is the beginnin' of the endin' but I'll put another clip in and spit these rounds
If I dig deep down but I'm in my bag like Fendi
Who am I offendin' now?
Got so many f*ckin' detractors, feels like I'm gettin' plowed
Had to put my money on a diet, I got too many pounds
You would think I'm turnin' pages the way that I'm flippin' paper
Middle fingers, them bitches get to wavin' like friendly neighbors
I'm talkin' loot like I'm riotin', dick is so big I can't fit the entire thing through a tire swing
I don't think it would be logic for me to say I'm retirin'
But I should say bye-bye, earthlings, 'cause I'm back on Uranus, f*ckin' up this "Grindin" beat, yeah
I took the pain and learned how to put that shit into a song
You listen for flaws and strip it and try to pick it apart
So when I am rippin', it's hard to tell whether if it is really because
Of how offensive I am, or just what a bitch that you are
Like I never had to get my clothes at f*ckin' St. Vincent de Paul
Like I don't make sure every sentence and bar with a pencil is sharp, like I'm quick on the draw, yeah
So when I pull it, surprise (pull it, surprise), like Kendrick Lamar
You need to walk the Yellow Brick Road and find the chick with the dog 'cause y'all missin' a heart
Plus your bitch is givin' out brain like the Wizard of Oz
This shit is like sittin' in the principal office, gettin' scolded for skippin'
Y'all got detention tomorrow
I'm severe like Benzo withdrawal, bitch your skin's gonna crawl
I'm invincible, I've been through it all, like I never thought about just endin' it
'Til I got pissed off and put a fist through the wall
My back was against, now I rap like I'm possessed, that's nine tenths of the law
Oh
Oh, f*ck it

Story by Stevie Wonder

Hey, this is Stevie

I was blessed to be raised in the west side of Detroit

I lived on Breckinridge, that was the first home that we lived in

My neighborhood, where I was raised up

When the girls came around

I would sing on the front porch, beating on the stairs

And singing for hours and hours upon hours

Seeing a piano for the first time, but the amazing thing as well is through those experiences

I was able to understand how my being blind, because my mother allowed me to be free

Didn't mean that I had to be blind to the world

I may have had a visual disability but did not stop my vision inside me

I didn't know what it was like being poor because God had made me rich

Even before I was born

Rich was the spirit of knowing that anything you imagined

That's for the good, is possible to be a reality

Because a few weeks before I was discovered, I had a dream

That I heard my music, my record on the radio

I had nothing out, no one knew who I was, and, um, amazing, it really happened

And so, you know it's, I can say to other young people as I said to my son Kailand

I said listen, what you don't understand is that

God gave you a brand even before you were born

All you had to do in life is walk into it

Still I Rise

Yeah (yeah)
Yeah
What about that part (two)
Ayy, yeah
Talk your shit, what?
Ayy

Look at all the souls I saved
Look at all the O's I made (whoa)
Same outfit a couple days (yeah)
Listen to Big Sean (okay, praise, nigga)

This for my baby who comin' over to buss it open (buss it)
Who get an Uber but really deserve a dozen roses (damn)
Who got her hair done and didn't think I even noticed
She just happy she chosen
But she the ones who chose me, that's what's more important (whoa)
I give her more game than problems, she love how I coach her
Under unrealistic measures is the only way you can measure who's chosen
I realized my mind frame is too big for the portrait
That's why I'm steady tryna teach the whole hood corporate
Off psychedelics while a physic tryna read my fortune
But I know knowin' too much of anything can be a torture (yeah)
She like you suppose to meet me parents, you know that's important
How narcissistic you think I am (huh), you think I did when I didn't (what?)
You think I paid for everything and didn't paid attention
Like my head is as big as my name (come on)
Just tell a real nigga once, baby, never again (swerve)
And I'll put you and all my lovesd ones on like it's my only obligation
I made all they solid wins a loud proclamation
A little pressure and a lot of patience
They tell me you amazin', I say no, God amazin'

Look at all the souls I saved (straight up)
Look at all the O's I made (yeah)
Same outfit a couple days (what about that part?)
Listen to Big Sean (okay, praise)

But just remember it's easier for muf*ckas to count you out than it is to count you in
So you gotta understand if they don't see where you comin' from
Or if they small minded and not thinkin' that it's enough for all of us to get it
That's why it's important to be your own boss
To some capacity you know, put yourself in control
Through the ups and downs, wins and losses, they all just chapters
Chapters in your life story and really some losses teach you how to win
You know, some losses teach you more than always winnin' ever could (ayy)
And I been there back against the ropes, against the wall
(I ain't tryna waste nobody time, don't waste mine)
That's just 'cause you the one who can handle it, you know?
(I ain't tryna waste nobody time, so don't waste mine)
Shit, man, you gotta prove yourself, you gotta rise the f*ck up (up)
Show 'em who you are, man (yeah)
You ain't gon' give me a way, okay, cool, I'll make a way, you feel me?
(Look at all the roads I paved, nigga)
Ain't no mistakes, ain't no regrets
Regrets only there 'cause you ain't learned yo lesson or forgave yourself, either or
(All the times I ain't cave, yeah, ayy)
Yeah, (all we do is elevate) elevate
(Big Sean) And I'ma just gonna leave it right there
(Detroit 2, ayy, what's f*ckin' with that, uh?)
