God
A word that might make you angry, wanna praise, or be afraid
But I welcome you to come so close, you'll see God's anaphase
Separating you from the rest of the world by lavishing you with grace
God loved the world so much he sent himself to take our place
And replace the eternal destination of darkness into being amazed seeing his face
Now he asks if we can chase his heart, until he comes back we wait
Don't be scared, hold strong
Praise God with this song
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Dead and hopeless, on a trail of brokenness
Then Jesus swooped in and revived my soul that was motionless
How can I not stop, and raise my hands
To the only true king who turned this boy into a man
He's our gentle and mighty Lord, both the lion and the lamb
He grabs us out of sin and death and hell and being damned
All for the purpose and pleasure of being present in his presence
His Word's my weapon I am second but accepted in the heavens
What a blessin' to be blessed from the God who'd been resurrected
Unexpectedly infected by his perfected affection
Never rejected like a losing presidential election
He's with me for breakfast in the morning and when my ride gets dented
When from a certain moment on I would be called a diabetic
When I was tempted and tested to enter darkness disconnected
Call yourself a skeptic, but I have been selected
God purchased me, can we sing this out yes yell it
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
Then sings my soul my savior God to thee
How great thou art, how great thou art
