Well, I's a rambling scrambler
Stumbling down my nature's road!
Built-in were nooks and crannies
Of many fears and pains untold!
There were cliffs of outright glamour
And clamour down below!
On no straight road would I walk!
Says I, who was e'er so bold!
Oh, never do say it's nothing
When I talk about worries then!
For in the old life, I feared hate
Knew not what I'd contend!
I took me off to hell back then
For I wouldn't know how long!
For all that's true's sake
Don't let anyone tell you
Be foolish to belong!
Well, I's a rambling scrambler
Stumbling down my nature's road!
Built-in were nooks and crannies
Of many fears and pains untold!
There were cliffs of outright glamour
And clamour down below!
On no straight road would I walk!
Says I, who was e'er so bold!
And you all know what I'm speaking of
When I talk about poison ills!
And you even know it's dangerous
To take a lunch of swill!
The Governing One is always near
Although you may not see!
And if anyone masks his love for you
It will the Devil be!
Well, I's a rambling scrambler
Stumbling down my nature's road!
Built-in were nooks and crannies
Of many fears and pains untold!
Now, no cliffs of outright glamour
No clamour down below!
For, now a straight road do I walk!
Says I, who sure got told!
