Listen up let's have no fear
We're gonna learn about the human ear
First there's the pinna it's what you see
It catches sounds like one two three
Oh the ear the amazing ear
Helps us hear both far and near
From the outer to the inner part
It's a work of art it's super smart
Next is the canal a little tube
Where sound waves travel groove by groove
They hit the eardrum make it shake
Vibrations start a magic quake
Tiny bones they start to dance
Malleus incus stapes in a trance
They pass the sound they amplify
To the cochlea they send it high
In the cochlea waves do flow
Tiny hairs they start to glow
They turn vibrations into signs
Send them off through nerve's fine lines
Signals travel to the brain
And that's where we hear the rain
Songs and laughter every cheer
All thanks to our wonderful ear
So now you know how hearing's done
Learning about the ear is so much fun
Keep on listening every day
With your amazing ears hip-hip-hoora
