Men and women enslaved
Over the colors of red and blue
Both to blinded and enraged
To see that the man at the end of the gun is a human being too
We strike our fellow man
And fail to see why they do the same
Oh when will we understand
All we are doing is letting it all burn down in flames
I only hope they listen
I only pray to god that hope can still glisten
I only hold my loved ones close as the hour comes
Were man must choose wether to give anger or love the final power
We want to make a difference
But still choose to suffer from our indifference
It is never the guns or swords that makes a better life
But love and understanding that delivers us out of our own strife
Our world is nearly doomed
And yet our hate still leaves us consumed
We cannot see while we our blind
So to open our eyes we must leave our anger behind
