She's not a girl
Easily impressed with the world
She's practical, humble and kind
She carries no illusion for it all to change
She's learned to live with the pain
I like her integrity
She's a loner, just like me
And she's self-controlled and graceful
She won't complain, she won't conform
She'd rather be alone, than be a phony
She doesn't see herself as spiritual
And some might call her cynical
But God looks down on her and smiles
For everything she does is with a heart so pure
A heart of gold to be sure
I wish I could make her see
How much she matters, not just to me
But everyone around
I wonder if the best of us can never know
Oh just how much they mean
And I know everything must pass
All is brief, nothing lasts
It's just a part of life
But walk with me a little while, we'll share the road
And see how far we can go
You never can know
