If I'm not much of a worker, why should I know what to do?
I've got the keys on my toolbelt, and I think they look pretty cool
I've been here for a few years
And it's starting to feel real
I'm like a neon light
An open sign, and it's late at night
I haven't looked out in a little while
Maybe because we'll speak more freely
When you stop by, and it's by surprise
And now you're looking to find out why I'm not mad anymore
And I'm just looking to wipe out all the contrarian goals
From the moment when I start up
I go and go and go
Forever shredding sky
But I only vibe with the neon lights
We were always seeing at parties
Through the back door one at a time
Somebody turned out the lights with the cops outside
We've been down here for a minute
And it feels like it's been a year
I'm just a normal person, and I don't wanna die
Someone turn on the lights
I haven't looked out in a little while
Maybe because I'll see more clearly
When I'm less wise, then we'll compromise
