I need some time to breathe
Your love enraptures me
Like a child again, in this wonderland
I draw lovehearts on the back of my hand

Sometimes words aren't enough
To truly capture our love
And so we leave our mark
By drawing lovehearts

Strangers, in their own worlds
On this busy train, I'm a faceless girl
They'll never know me at all
Like you do, my heart and soul

My breath on the window pane
Clouds my view of the rain
So I turn the view into art
By drawing lovehearts

Our lives are blank pages on which we write
But our love's too wondrous to limit to a rhyme
I search for some meaningful words for the world
To remember us by

But words escape me again
So I sit with notebook and pen
Resting on my guitar
