Oh I lost my way going back to where I'm from
It didn't take too long, guess I never called it home
Maybe there's too many
People I could meet
Who would recognize me from some place I have been
Hey that's great, what's your name?
Now I'm out again sent spilling down the street
And I'm left to wonder how much more could it be
After a long time I lay balanced on my back
Only then do I come to and I figure that
If it's not forever what's the use
Frozen crystals mount their forces up above
Every one a martyr for some greater cause
I wonder when they fall, will I get up to leave
But something keeps me there to hear the cacophony
I can still hear the sound
Now I'm buried deep and I know the sun is gone
And so goes my warmth, another night has come
Back where people know me
Everything's alright
A fire's burning through
The quarrels of the night
Maybe it really was just me
